About the Algabonyah Employment Program: 

The Algabonyah Employment Program uses an intensive support approach intended to address factors that contribute to long term unemployment. We consider more than the individual, we look at their family, the community and the role of business to close the economic gap for the region’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.

Position outline

The position is responsible for providing administration support for the Algabonyah Employment Program (AEP), including maintaining participant records and databases, and ensure reporting requirements are met in a timely manner. This position is also responsible for the office management, including opening and locking up, and maintaining a front-of-house presence.

The role will establish and maintain strong internal communication channels and assist the team in marketing and promotional activities.

The position will also contribute to ensuring a culturally safe and inclusive working environment for team and participants.
