The Rumbalara Football Netball Club Inc. (RFNC) is the largest Indigenous football and netball club in South Eastern Australia, involving more than 400 Indigenous participants a month. It has a proud history of nurturing reconciliation, and improving physical, emotional and spiritual well-being for the Goulburn Valley’s Aboriginal community.

The RFNC is partnered with a number of organisations and institutes to strengthen community development, and provide community leadership in youth suicide prevention, health promotion and employment.

The Kaiela Institute supports collaboration between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal leaders to envision, design and implement an inclusive future for all people in the Goulburn Murray region.

It has been established to provide a place and a process to encourage and support our leaders and institutions to collaborate and take a more strategic approach to building the future of our community; to move from the necessities of crises intervention to the potential of a real design of future.

Position Outline

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of human resources and workplace relations advice and services to management and staff across the organisation. The role is responsible for providing expert advice on all HR related matters and queries, delivering a range of designated HR operational activities, and the identification and implementation of process improvements. 

This position will be a shared position between the Kaiela Institute and the Rumbalara Football Netball Club, provide advice and support across both organisations who employ a small team within each. This position will operate in a management matrix framework.
