Business support during COVID-19

The Algabonyah Business Development Unit have maintained consistent communication with business and industry networks.

The Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry have put together a FREE Victorian Chamber Essentials Membership of which the Business Development Unit have engaged.

Benefits to business and industry include:

  • Online manuals
  • Online tools and templates
  • Online training and consulting credits up to $700
  • Workplace relations advice line (2 calls per year)

Business support fund from Victorian Government

The Business Support Fund will help small businesses highly impacted by shutdown restrictions. Those businesses can apply for a $10,000 grant towards operational costs and to help keep people in work.

To be eligible, businesses must already employ staff, have payroll of less than $650,000 and a turnover of more than $75,000. Full details on eligibility and how to apply are set out on the Business Support Fund webpage :
