The Munarra Project is still in the planning and development stage. While Munarra will be centred on a rebranded ASHE and a rejuvenated Rumbalara Football & Netball Club, what else happens in the precinct is still to be determined.
We want to hear your opinions and ideas about how Munarra can contribute to building positive futures for the young people of the Goulburn Valley.
How you can get involved
Over the course of this consultation, we will post short surveys that you can fill out on this website.
We will provide quick ways for you to vote on ideas that you may or may not like.
Please keep your comments positive and have a look to see if your idea has already been suggested and upvote that.
We will be around the grounds at Rumbalara home games asking for your feedback. Here is the short survey that you can complete in your own time, if the footy or netball matches are too good to miss.
The Munarra Domains
The Rumba Re-Life project will include refurbishment of the Rumbalara Football Netball Club facilities and the development of new netball courts, to maximise community use and add further value to the new Munarra Project.
The Academy of Sport, Health and Education (ASHE) will be reborn as the Munarra Academy and engage young Aboriginal people in sports and health education, and deliver pathways to further education and employment.
The Munarra project will a community facility, which could provide opportunities to celebrate local achievements and enhance Aboriginal cultural identity, expression and celebration.
The activities at Munarra will be centred on sports, health education and community. We would welcome your ideas on what else Munarra should include within these domains.
