Physical Activity Challenge

Something in the park.

For true health and wellbeing we need to consider how we feel inside and outside, this is where our mental and physical health come together to promote a healthy sense of self.

As part of Wellbeing Wednesday this week, we want people to get outside and connect with a different part of the Goulburn Valley for their physical activity.

Feel free to post photos and/or videos from the challenges onto social media by using #yakamarumba.

If you are not into sharing, you can write down your results somewhere just for you to see (after some time, you can return to the challenge to improve on your result).


Complete 3 rounds of the circuit, add more rounds for a challenge (1 minute rest between rounds).

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) – (20sec of work – 10sec of rest):

  1. 20sec jumping jacks – 10sec rest
  2. 20sec air punches – 10sec rest
  3. 20sec air squats – etc.
  4. 20 sec burpees
  5. 20sec air squats
  6. 20sec air punches
  7. 20sec jumping jacks
