Women’s Football in season 2020 is looking Arm…strong

Rumbalara FNC is excited to announce Brad Armstrong has signed on as our women’s football coach for season 2020.

Brad is no stranger to the Club, having been an important senior player with the since the 2014 season, where he was a member of our 1st senior MFL football premiership. Brad has been a constant rock in our defence in both senior and reserve grade football since joining the Club in 2014.

The Club would like to thank Rumbalara FNC legend, Jason Briggs for taking over the reins at short notice for season 2019 and helping the women achieve massive in roads on our first season. The evidence clear from winning two games in 2018 and six wins in 2019.

We are really looking forward to see what Brad has planned for the women’s football team as we enter our 3rd season in Northern Country Women’s Football League.

“This season is all about building up our fitness, so we can push harder against the other teams” said Brad Armstrong, Rumbalara FNC senior women’s coach.

“I’ll be at the Club every Monday, Wednesday and Friday training and invite anyone to come along to work on your fitness. Everyone is welcome, even if you don’t play footy.”

“Come along on Monday (9th Dec) to the first training session and stay around for the BBQ where we can all talk about where we are going in 2020.” said Brad.

If you would like to have a run in the women’s football league in season 2020, we have our first night of women’s football pre season training at 6PM on Monday 9th December the Club. There will be a BBQ provided and everyone is welcome to join.
