Algabonyah Employment Program

Algabonyah Employment Program

The Rumbalara Football Netball Club is committed to building the prosperity of the Dungala Kaiela region, with a growing, inclusive economy. The Club is committed to increasing the proportion of Indigenous people employed in the workforce to achieve parity with our working-age population. Increasing educational attainment is also a key foundation for achieving parity.

The Algabonyah Employment Program uses an intensive support approach intended to address factors that contribute to long term unemployment. We consider more than the individual, we look at their family, the community and the role of business to close the economic gap for the region’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
