- Education

In 2004 the Rumbalara Football Netball Club (RFNC) in partnership with the University of Melbourne’s Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences established The Academy of Sport Health and Education (ASHE).
The creation and support of ASHE is part of Rumbalara’s commitment to improvements in the physical and emotional health, education and employment of young people and families.

Munurra Accommodation
ASHE provides a safe and supported accommodation program to our ASHE students, Aboriginal apprentices and trainees. It is our family environment with beautiful home style cooking, a gym, 12 bedrooms and very family orientated. We strongly advocate and encourage independent living but guidance from mentors, elders and community,
Munarra participants are invited to stay at the Knight Street Munarra Accommodation whilst undertaking study here in Shepparton.
Participants are provided safe and supported accommodation at a reasonable cost.
Participants will be expected to develop independent living skills at the accommodation. This involves participating in the cooking and cleaning rosters, attending functions and communicating appropriately with staff.
Living in shared accommodation can be difficult, but it can also be very positive and rewarding. We invite you to embrace the experience and be an active participant.
Any feedback, suggestions and ideas are welcomed and encouraged.
