Employment support for the community

The Algabonyah Employment Program welcomes Alice Pettit to the Rumba family. Alice is available to help with job readiness.

The Algabonyah Employment Program is committed to increasing the proportion of Aboriginal people employed in our Goulburn-Murray workforce to at least 2.0% by 2020, to achieve parity with our working-age population.

Alice joins us as an Employment Broker and will be working with partner organisations and businesses that have signed up to a minimum target of 2.0% Aboriginal employment in their organisations.

Jobseekers will work with Alice to build the aspiration, skills, experience and job readiness to compete for the jobs identified by employers in the sectors of hospitality, retail, hair and beauty and community services.

Improving educational attainment strengthens the pipeline of young people entering the workforce. The Algabonyah Employment Program actively supports Aboriginal employees to develop their skills and capabilities, so they can fulfil their potential and remain in the workforce.

If you are seeking work or are looking to start improve your chance of employment, please contact Alice at alice.pettit@rfnc.com.au
