Rumbalara Football Netball Club’s 2020 season – is postponed until May 31 2020 at the earliest.
We are following advice from the State Government, Netball Victoria, AFL Victoria and the Murray Football Netball League. The decision was collectively agreed upon that the health and safety of the community is, as always, our top priority. As a community organisation, we must act in our collective interest.
The Club has decided that given the escalating concerns around COVID-19, for the safety and wellbeing of our members, guests, staff and the broader community, we feel it’s best to postpone our activities.
This decision is effective until May 31 2020 and will be reviewed on a regular basis as the issue evolves.
The Club has cancelled its scheduled practice matches.
AFL Auskick has been postponed until June 2 2020.
The Gowola Homework Club has been postponed until June 2 2020.
Thursday night dinners have been postponed until further notice.
All Club training has been postponed until further notice. Coaches will advise players of revised training programs at the earliest April 1 2020.
